Sergio Sandoval, a renowned actor, producer, and cultural promoter hailing from Río Bravo, Tamaulipas, Mexico, has made a significant mark on the theater stage. His passion for the performing arts dates back to his early steps in theater under the guidance of the acclaimed director and playwright Carlos Jesús García Rojas (1950-2016).
With a continuously growing career, Sergio has had the privilege of working and collaborating with outstanding professionals in the field. From 2020 to 2022, he joined forces with the talented Salvadoran director Geovanny Misael Alvarado, enriching his experience and expanding his artistic vision.
However, it is alongside the director, author, and playwright Domingo Ferrandis that Sergio has found a solid and fruitful collaboration since 2016. Together, they have created theatrical works that have captivated audiences, exploring the diversity of emotions and themes that shape the human experience.
In addition to his remarkable work in the artistic realm, Sergio Sandoval is the Founder and Executive Director of the Teatro Comunitario de Houston. Under his leadership, this institution has established itself as a reference in the community, promoting active participation from society and fostering access to the performing arts for all.
